Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today met with the Minister for Trade of Korea, H.E. Inkyo Cheong, in Seoul during his Working Visit to the Republic of Korea (ROK). They exchanged views on measures to enhance the ASEAN-Korea economic relations, including the possible upgrade of the ASEAN-Korea Free Trade Area (FTA), the implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Agreement, and other economic cooperation initiatives that would foster the ASEAN – ROK strategic partnership.
