Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, this afternoon met with H.E. Wang Daoxi, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Emergency Management of the People’s Republic of China, on the sidelines of the 5th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Disaster Management (AMMDM) Plus China, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. They exchanged views on ways to enhance ASEAN–China cooperation on disaster management, including preparations for the development of the ASEAN-China Work Plan on Disaster Management 2026-2030, in line with the AADMER Work Programme 2026–2030.
