Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today participated in the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meetings (AMM) held in Cebu, the Philippines. Chaired by Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines and Chair of AMM for 2026, H.E Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro, the Meeting focused on preparations for the upcoming 48th ASEAN Summit. The Foreign Ministers exchanged views on issues of strategic importance, including the evolving energy crisis and the implications of the situation in the Middle East on the region, among others.
