H.E. San Lwin, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC), led the ASEAN Secretariat’s delegation to the 15th Meeting of the Ad Hoc Working Group to Develop the ASCC Strategic Plan (AHWG) on 9–10 June 2026 in Dili, Timor-Leste. The Meeting was co-chaired by the Philippines and Singapore.

The Meeting aimed to advance the ASCC Results Framework by commencing baseline data collection for the Strategic Measure-level Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and deliberating on the draft Objective-Level KPIs of the ASCC Strategic Plan. The Meeting discussed the baseline report and its submission to the Senior Officials Committee for the ASCC (SOCA). The Meeting also featured an Interface with ASCC Sectoral Bodies of Timor-Leste, facilitating knowledge-sharing on national planning, ASEAN consensus-building, and the hosting of ASEAN events.

The 15th AHWG Meeting was co-hosted by the ASEAN Secretariat and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MNEC) of Timor-Leste, with support from the Government of Australia through the Australia for ASEAN Futures Initiative (Aus4ASEAN).
