Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today received a farewell call from the outgoing Permanent Representative of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to ASEAN, H.E. Aung Myo Myint, at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat. Dr. Kao expressed his appreciation for Ambassador Aung Myo Myint’s dedicated service and valuable contributions to the work of ASEAN, particularly through his active engagement in the Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN (CPR) as well as through his role in supporting ASEAN’s Dialogue Relations and regional cooperation. Dr. Kao also extended his best wishes for Ambassador Aung Myo Myint’s future endeavours and reaffirmed the ASEAN Secretariat’s continued support to Ambassador Aung Myo Myint’s successor and to the Permanent Mission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to ASEAN.
