Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, will welcome H.E. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, to the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat, on 4 August 2026.

The visit will feature a meeting with the Secretary-General of ASEAN, Policy Speech by the Prime Minister of Thailand, tree planting ceremony, presentation of an artwork from the Kingdom of Thailand to ASEAN, among other engagements.

The visit will reaffirm Thailand’s steadfast commitment to ASEAN’s shared values and aspirations and underscore its important contribution to ASEAN Community-building efforts. It would also provide an opportunity to exchange views on regional and international developments and explore ways to further advance ASEAN’s collective efforts to promote peace, stability, resilience, and prosperity in the region, particularly through the implementation of ASEAN 2045: Our Shared Future.
