Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for the ASEAN Political-Security Community, H.E. Dato’ Astanah Abdul Aziz, delivered a keynote lecture at the National Workshop on the ASEAN Political-Security Community (APSC) Strategic Plan, held in Dili, Timor-Leste, from 29 to 31 July 2026.
The workshop brought together representatives from Timor-Leste’s ministries and government agencies to strengthen their understanding of the APSC Strategic Plan, discuss its implementation at the national level, and exchange views on the way forward in supporting Timor-Leste’s active participation in ASEAN Community-building following its admission as ASEAN’s 11th Member State
