WE, the ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Youth, convened via video conference on 21 August 2026, for the Fourteenth ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Youth (AMMY XIV), under the chairpersonship of the Philippines.

1. We commend the successful convening of the AMMY XIV and support its Chairship theme, “Strengthening Youth Development for a Resilient, Innovative, Dynamic and Inclusive ASEAN Community: Navigating the Future Together.” This theme reaffirms our shared commitment to empowering ASEAN youth to become resilient, innovative, dynamic, and inclusive contributors in building a people-centred, people-oriented, and future-ready ASEAN Community.
2. We reiterate the ASEAN Leaders’ commitment to promote the critical role of youth in socio-economic development and ASEAN Community-building, and note with satisfaction the progress of ASEAN cooperation on youth as reported through the Fourteenth and Fifteenth ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Youth (SOMY XIV and SOMY XV), including the implementation of regional initiatives that advance youth development, strengthen ASEAN identity, and contribute to the realization of the ASEAN Community Vision 2045 and its Strategic Plans.
