The ANZ ASEAN Ambassadors Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday, 23 October in Damai Indah Golf, PIK Course starting at 10:00am Jakarta time to foster the spirit of sportsmanship towards an ASEAN Community by the year 2015. The golf tournament is sponsored by PT ANZ Panin Bank (ANZ) with the cooperation of the ASEAN Secretariat, Indonesian Foreign Ministry, the Jakarta Ambassador Golf Association (JAGA), and GET Communication.

The tournament will be attended by Ambassadors from ASEAN Member States and other countries, government officials and businessmen.

In conjunction with this event, there will be a charity sale of golf t-shirts with batik designs which proceeds will go towards supporting children organisations such as “Happy English Foundation” in Jakarta and “Tunas Hijau” in Surabaya. The event will also be celebrated with cultural performances and fashion shows which will showcase the latest designs in batik textile.

Further, two trophies will be awarded: Marty Natalegawa trophy and Surin Pitsuwan trophy.
