The annual ASEAN Sub-Committee on Budget Meeting was convened from 13 to 15 August 2025 at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat to deliberate on the operational budget of the ASEAN Secretariat for the forthcoming year. Chaired by Ms. Nur Diyana Badarudin, Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of Malaysia to ASEAN, the meeting was attended by representatives from ASEAN Member States, with Timor-Leste participating as an Observer. This important gathering served as a key platform for reviewing, discussing, and aligning budget priorities to support the Secretariat’s operations.
