1. The 13th ASEAN-United States (U.S.) Summit was held on 26 October 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Summit was chaired by The Honourable Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia and the Chair of ASEAN. The Summit was attended by ASEAN Member States and the Honourable Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America. The Secretary-General of ASEAN was also in attendance.
2. We reiterated our support for Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship under the theme “Inclusivity and Sustainability,” which reaffirms ASEAN’s commitment towards strengthening regional peace, stability, and prosperity through inclusive, sustainable, and future-oriented ASEAN Community-building efforts.
