1. The 22nd ASEAN-India Summit was held on 26 October 2025, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Summit was chaired by The Honourable Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia and the Chair of ASEAN. The Summit was attended by ASEAN Member States and Hon. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India. The Secretary-General of ASEAN was also in attendance.
2. We reiterated our support for Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship under the theme “Inclusivity and Sustainability,” which reaffirms ASEAN’s commitment towards strengthening regional peace, stability, and prosperity through inclusive, sustainable, and future-oriented ASEAN Community-building efforts. The theme is also reflected in our shared cooperation between ASEAN and India.
