Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Political-Security Community, Dato’ Astanah Abdul Aziz, held a bilateral meeting with the Vice-Minister of Defense for International Affairs and the ASEAN Defence Senior Officials’ Meeting Plus Leader of Japan, H.E. Koji Kano, on the margins of the 14th Japan-ASEAN Defense Vice-Ministerial Forum in Fukuoka, Japan on 10 February 2025. The bilateral engagement discussed defence cooperation between Japan and ASEAN, under the ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting (ADMM), ADMM-Plus and Japan-led complementary mechanisms.
