- We, Minister of Energy and Mines of the Lao PDR, Minister of Energy of the Kingdom of Thailand, Minister of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change of Malaysia, and Second Minister for Trade and Industry of the Republic of Singapore, have met on the occasion of the 41st ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM) and its Associated Meetings, hosted by Indonesia on 24 August 2023;
- RECALLING that the Ministers of Lao PDR, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore had issued three Joint Statements on the occasions of the 38th AMEM on 19 November 2020, 39th AMEM on 15 September 2021, and 40th AMEM on 15 September 2022 to affirm our commitment to advancing multilateral cross-border power trade in ASEAN;
