1. We, the Foreign Ministers of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), met on 4 August 2015 at the 48th ASEAN Foreign Ministers Meeting (48th AMM) in Kuala Lumpur. His Excellency Dato’ Sri Anifah Aman, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia chaired the meeting.

2. We had a productive deliberation under the theme “Our People, Our Community, Our Vision”, to create an ASEAN Community which is truly peopleoriented, people-centred comprising all areas of cooperation. We also had fruitful discussions on regional and international issues as well as our ongoing efforts to maintain peace, stability and prosperity in the region.
