1. ASEAN Member States and the Russian Federation met virtually on 14 September 2021 on the occasion of the Tenth AEM-Russia Consultations. The Consultations were co-chaired by H.E. Dato Dr. Amin Liew Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II, Brunei Darussalam and H.E. Vladimir Ilyichev, Deputy Minister of Economic Development, the Russian Federation.
2. The Meeting noted the performance of ASEAN-Russia bilateral trade and investment. Two-way trade between ASEAN and Russia amounted to USD 15,7 billion while the bilateral Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) amounted to USD 8.8 billion, in 2020.
