1. The Thirtieth ASEAN Transport Ministers (ATM) Meeting was held on 21 November 2024, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. H.E. Mr. Loke Siew Fook, Minister of Transport of Malaysia, chaired the Meeting. The Thirtieth ATM Meeting was preceded by the Fifty-Eighth ASEAN Senior Transport Officials Meeting (STOM) and their consultations with Dialogue Partners held on 18-20 November 2024.

Working Towards ASEAN Transport Sectoral Plan (2026-2030)

2. The Meeting was encouraged by the progress in the development of the ASEAN Transport Sectoral Plan (ATSP) 2026-2030, building upon the implementation of the Kuala Lumpur Transport Strategic Plan 2016-2025. The ATSP 2026-2030 will address the evolving demands of seamless connectivity, global trade, climate commitments, and economic growth, ensure that ASEAN remains competitive and well-connected in the global landscape, in support and alignment with the ASEAN Economic Community Strategic Plan 2026-2030. The Meeting looked forward to the adoption of the ATSP 2026-2030 at the next ATM meeting.
