- The 19th DGICM + Australia Consultation was held in Nha Trang, Viet Nam on 15 August 2024. The 19th DGICM + Australia was co-chaired by Major General Pham Dang Khoa, Director-General of Immigration Department, Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam and Mr. Damien Kilner, First Assistant Secretary, Immigration Programs Division, the Department of Home Affairs of Australia.
- The Consultation was attended by the Heads of Immigration Departments, Heads of Consular Affairs Division of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the ASEAN Member States and Australia, as well as representatives from the ASEAN Secretariat. Timor-Leste attended as an observer.
