The Third ASEAN Plus Japan Ministerial Meeting on Sports was held on 28 October 2021, co-chaired by Singapore and Japan.

1. We congratulate Singapore and extend our full support for its assumption of its co-chairpersonship with Japan.
2. We note with satisfaction the progress of ASEAN-Japan friendship and cooperation over the past year and reaffirm the commitment to further strengthen ASEAN-Japan cooperation on sports, guided by the Revised Implementation Plan of the Vision Statement on ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation: Shared Vision, Shared Identity, Shared Future.
