AEM–METI Consultation

The ASEAN Economic Ministers (AEM)–Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan Consultation comprises the ASEAN Economic Ministers and the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan. The Consultation is held annually to review and monitor the progress of ASEAN–Japan economic relations, as well as to provide strategic guidance and directions for future cooperation and partnership initiatives.

SEOM–METI Consultation

The Senior Economic Officials Meeting (SEOM)–METI Consultation comprises senior economic officials from AMS and Japan. It is convened annually to support the Ministers in implementing initiatives and follow-up actions aimed at strengthening trade, investment, and economic cooperation between ASEAN and Japan.
