Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today received a farewell call from the Ambassador of India to ASEAN, Jayant N. Khobragade, at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat. During the call, Dr. Kao conveyed his appreciation to Ambassador Jayant for his tireless efforts in promoting closer relations between ASEAN and India throughout his tenure. Both sides also exchanged views on ways to strengthen ASEAN-India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. SG Dr. Kao also expressed his readiness to work with Ambassador Jayant’s successor to further advance ASEAN-India relations.
