Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today delivered opening remarks at the 2025 High-Level Dialogue on Enhancing Regional Cooperation and Resource Mobilisation in Mine/Explosive Remnants of War Action, in Jakarta, Indonesia, an event organised by the ASEAN Regional Mine Action Center (ARMAC) with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China. In his remarks, Dr. Kao underscored the need to enhance partnership in humanitarian mine action by exploring various opportunities towards a mine-free ASEAN.
