Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today met with Dr. Marty Natalegawa, former Foreign Minister of the Republic of Indonesia and Founder of the Amity Circle. During the Meeting, Dr. Kao underscored the importance of platforms such as the Amity Circle in leveraging the experience and insights of former ministers and senior policy makers. Expressing appreciation to Dr. Kao for his continued support to the Amity Circle, including Dr. Kao’s participation in the 4th Amity Circle Retreat in April 2026 through a pre-recorded message, Dr. Marty shared the key outcomes of the Retreat. Dr. Marty also looked forward to Dr. Kao’s participation in the future events.
