Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today had a meeting with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, H.E. Takeshi Iwaya, in Tokyo, Japan. They exchanged views on ASEAN-Japan relations, and explored ways to further strengthen the ASEAN-Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. They agreed to work closely together to further substantiate the ASEAN-Japan cooperation, in line with the Vision Statement on ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation Trusted Partners and its Implementation Plan adopted at the Commemorative Summit for the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation, held in Tokyo, in December of last year.
