Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, on 19 August 2026, held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Mr. Márcio Fernando Elias Rosa, Minister of Development, Industry, Trade and Services of the Federative Republic of Brazil, in Brasília, on the sidelines of his Working Visit to Brazil. Both sides discussed ways to further strengthen the ASEAN-Brazil Sectoral Dialogue Partnership, including deepening trade, investment, and industrial policy cooperation, as well as exploring opportunities for enhanced cooperation in the digital economy, critical minerals, and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).
