Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today met with the Chairman of the Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA), Associate Professor Simon Tay, at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat. They discussed follow-up to the second ASEAN Think Tanks Summit (ATTS), held in Jakarta, Indonesia, on 2 October 2025, and explored ways to ensure the meaningful participation and contribution of SIIA, as well as the Think Tank community in maintaining and strengthening the centrality and relevance of ASEAN, particularly in the implementation of ASEAN 2045: Our Shared Future.
