Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today held a bilateral meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lao PDR, H.E. Thongsavanh Phomvihane, in Langkawi, Malaysia, on the sidelines of the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Retreat. Dr. Kao congratulated Lao PDR on a successful Chairmanship of ASEAN last year and reaffirmed the ASEAN Secretariat’s readiness to support Lao PDR and other Member States in the continuation of ASEAN’s work through the priorities and deliverables in 2025 under the theme “Inclusivity and Sustainability.”
