Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today joined the Ministers responsible for combatting transnational crime from ASEAN and the Republic of Korea (ROK) at the 6th ASEAN Plus the Republic of Korea Ministerial Meeting on Transnational Crime (6th AMMTC + ROK) Consultation, with Timor-Leste attending as Observer, in Melaka, Malaysia. The Consultation exchanged views on common challenges in transnational crime and looked forward to the implementation of the new SOMTC-ROK Work Plan for Cooperation to Prevent and Combat Transnational Crime (2026-2028).
