Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister of Australia, the Honourable Anthony Albanese in Melbourne today, ahead of the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit to Commemorate the 50th Anniversary of ASEAN-Australia Dialogue Relations. Both sides highlighted the significance of ASEAN-Australia Dialogue Relations and the commitment to further strengthen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Secretary-General Dr. Kao appreciated Australia’s strong support for ASEAN Community-building and ASEAN Centrality and looked forward to Australia’s continued support to ASEAN to promote peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
