- The Twelfth ASEAN and ROK Transport Ministers Meeting (12th ATM+ROK) was held on 12 November 2021 via video conference. The Meeting was co-chaired by H.E. Mr. SUN Chanthol, Senior Minister, Minister of Public Works and Transport of Cambodia and H.E. Mr. Hwang, Seong Kyu, Vice Minister for Transport, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Korea. The Meeting was preceded by the Thirteenth ASEAN and ROK Senior Transport Officials Meeting (13th STOM+ROK) held on 3 November 2021.
- The Meeting welcomed the positive outcomes of the 11th ASEAN-ROK Transport Cooperation Forum, which was held on 7 September 2021 via video conference under the theme: “Future Directions for ASEAN Sustainable Transport Policies: Coping with Global Challenges including COVID-19”. The Meeting acknowledged the Forum would foster closer cooperation between ASEAN and ROK in the field of sustainable transport and digital logistics to help restore trade connectivity, support the pandemic recovery, and enhance regional economic resilience in the post COVID-19 era.
