Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today met with H.E. Wang Zhizhong, Vice Minister of Public Security of China, on the sidelines of the 19th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Transnational Crime (AMMTC) and Its Related Meetings in Melaka, Malaysia. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening practical ASEAN-China initiatives and strengthening regional capacity to address current and emerging transnational threats, highlighting the importance of partnership, innovation and proactive engagement.
